NYC Dyke March
This year the NYC Dyke March will step off from Bryant Park at 5pm on June 28 and continue down 5th Avenue to Washington Square Park.
Thousands of Dykes take the streets each year in celebration of beautiful and diverse Dyke lives, to highlight the presence of Dykes within our community, and in protest of the discrimination, harassment, and violence faced in schools, on the job, and in our communities.
Fogo Azul will march the whole route ending in the park with a set of powerful rhythms.

Brooklyn Pride Center Comic Book Fair
Celebrate Pride after the Mermaid Parade as Fogo Azul brings our badass Brazilian beat to the Brooklyn Pride Comic Book Fair 2025 in Crown Heights!
Noon-6:00pm: LGBTQIA+ comic book fair! Free and open to the public!
6:30pm: Fogo Azul leads the way along Union Street from the Brooklyn Community Pride Center to the after party at Whoopsie Daisy.

Mermaid Parade at Coney Island

Queens Pride Parade
2025 is the 33rd anniversary of Queens Pride! Found in 1993, it is held annually on the first Sunday in June, in the neighborhood of Jackson Heights. The parade is followed by a multicultural festival!

DUMBO Drop
#DUMBODROP is an Annual Tradition where thousands of toy elephants parachute down from the skies of Dumbo onto our cobblestoned Washington Street - Brooklyn’s most iconic block. Plus, there's an epic block party with kids activities, restaurant row and more!
All proceeds from ticket sales go directly to Dumbo’s Title 1 public schools, PS307 Elementary + The Dock Street Middle School.

NYCRuns Half Marathon
Go for the win with America's fastest growing race featuring over 25,000 runners in 2025! Official partner, Oatly, is drumming up a Halfway Halftime Show of unhinged entertainment fanfare to celebrate every runner’s race progress and Oatly’s lower climate impact message, as well as to cheer runners on through the race’s 2nd half.

Gotham FC: Opening Day
Come see Fogo Azul cheer on Gotham FC, the 2023 champion of the NWSL/National Women’s Soccer League, in the battle of the season at their home opener against the 2024 champion, the Orlando Pride. Fan Fest begins at 2:30 with gate giveaways, face painting, glitter tattoos, soccer activities, and more. Go Gotham! Blue out!

St. Pat's For All Parade
Fogo Azul will be marching in the 2025 St. Pat’s For All Parade!
We return once again to Skillman Avenue and the hospitable communities of Sunnyside and Woodside for an inclusive clebration of Irish culture and heritage.
Music and remarks will begin at 12pm, and the parade will step off at 1pm.

Favela Fridays: Carnaval Kickoff
Fogo Azul is performing at the opening night of Favela Fridays at Sounds of Brazil to kick off CARNAVAL WEEKEND bringing Rio to New York City on Fri, Feb 28th with baile funk DJs, live percussion, late night caipirinha happy hour, a batucada ensemble, and samba dancers.

Governors Island Ice Carving Competition
Governors Island Arts presents the fourth annual Governors Island Ice Sculpture Show with a special performance by Fogo Azul at 2pm!
